Camp Wight offer sustainable holidays, or off-grid glamping, in our adaptable geodesic dome, with views south to the Downs, on our beautiful woodland site.
The dome shells and floor are very well insulated, so cool in the day and warm at night.
The dome has a curtain to divide it in two rooms. one has bunk beds, the other has a double futon and a single futon, as well as a table with a bench and chairs. There is solar powered lighting, with a long lasting battery, to take you you through the night. This powers the lighting and 6 USB charging points. Three are USB-C points.
There is plenty of space for you to cook outside on the decking, where there is a firepit for the evening. The dome is a short distance from a mains-water supplied sink and our dry composting toilets and solar-warmed showers.
This dome is level access to the decking and has a canvas zip-up door.
In the summer, it is normally possible to park right outside the dome. In winter you will need to park in the on-site parking and walk in. We recommend stout footwear, or wellies in winter! Please note the outside site is unlit, to preserve our amazing dark skies: so we recommend you come with head torches to see your way round!
